5 years ago today, we welcomed our second son, Zion, into the world and life has never been the same. 🖤

Zion, you have always known exactly who you are. You’re a leader. You know what you like and what you don’t, and you have absolutely no problem letting us know. 😄 But underneath all that boldness is one of the most caring hearts we’ve ever seen.

At just five years old, you’ve already experienced real loss — our dog Eze and Grandma Brock are both in heaven now, and you loved them so deeply. You ask about them often, and the way your little mind wrestles with those big questions and holds onto the people you love… it just shows us how old your soul really is. You challenge mommy and daddy in the best way.

God made you one of a kind, and we are so grateful He chose us to be your parents.

Happy Birthday, son. Here’s to Chapter 5! You are so loved. 🎂🖤

Real estate partners by day, each other’s biggest headache by noon. 😅 This is what the behind the scenes actually looks like — and yes, for every polished video you see, there are approximately 80 million bloopers, 152 mini arguments, and 2,650 eye rolls that didn’t make the cut. 👀🤣 We wouldn’t trade it for anything though. (Ask us again after the next filming session.) 😂

We had the honor of attending the Black Wall Street Symposium today and it truly left us energized and inspired! We heard from local change makers like Mayor Monroe Nichols, Dr. Tiffany Crutcher and Dr. Ebony Johnson, in addition to powerhouses from all over the country, such as Rukaiyah Adams, President of the 1803 Fund and Damien Dwin, Founder of Lafayette Square — and several others!

The amount of wealth, knowledge, education and resources in that one room was mind blowing. 🤯 Shout out to Alaina Beverly for leading this charge through the Greenwood Trust.
