Heartbreakingđź’” The Turlock community will come together to help out this family who lost their 14 year-old girl to a DUI wreck.

On Friday night, lives were forever changed by a drunk driver. Our sweet friend, Freida was killed when the car she was riding in was hit. Freida was only 14 years old and in the 8th grade at Dutcher Middle School. Freida was polite, outgoing, fun, loved sunflowers and her favorite color was ligh...

Yes, please! Charter Spectrum representatives should have to come to a Council Meeting and answer for these outages and explain how it takes ALL day to fix.

We have brought this up multiple times with City officials. Councilwoman and 2018 Mayoral Candidate Amy Bublak asked for a review of our situation with Charter and internet service providers here in Turlock.

It still has not been agendized by Mayor Gary Soiseth or the City Manager who hold the power of setting Council Meeting agendas.

On Tuesday night at the next City Council Meeting, she’s going to ask again that this be reviewed!

Any account credit or customer service experiences to share? Councilwoman Amy Bublak will be capturing all the comments for public record as she calls for Charter reps to come before Council to explain and be held accountable.

Internet service appears to be back working. Maybe restart your modem if yours isn’t back on. A Charter representative has stated earlier that it was a fiber cut with a third party.

Councilwoman Amy Bublak has requested this issue be reviewed but it hasn’t made the Mayor’s Council agenda. She’s going to be demanding a review or information for the public at Tuesday’s Council Meeting.

Bublak captured all the comments on TCN for public record and asks anyone to email experiences of what Charter customer service has said or offered. Her email is [email protected]

Let’s set our community agenda since the City of Turlock won’t, and address the real and serious issue homelessness and related issues to homelessness (perceived or real).

Homelessness in Turlock... Comment with concerns, suggestions, issues, ideas for solutions, experiences, etc.

Homelessness was discussed at a recent City of Turlock and Turlock Downtown Property Owners Association meeting.

Most participants left with frustration and no sense of progress, and no potential solutions in sight as it doesn’t seem much has been done in the last decade. Homelessness actually appears like it’s increasing and getting worse here in Turlock.

We’ve seen over the last 10 years that there’s been around 100 meetings, with 100s of people, 1,000s of hours, $1,000,000s in related services’ funding grants/donations, unknown reports of damage, medical responses, police calls of service, $10,000,000s in commercial property districts often impacted, and $100,000,000s of potential negatively impacted commerce in those districts... all involving most of us 73,000 Turlockers and the 100,000 people in Turlock at any given day.

Comment with concerns, suggestions, issues, ideas for solutions, experiences, etc.
