COMMUNITY PROGRAMS & SERVICES
Recent federal budget changes may impact residents who receive federal benefits, such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), fuel assistance, or housing assistance. We understand that this may cause concern, and we want to ensure our residents have the information and resources they need.

The Town of Montague cannot provide direct assistance with federal benefits, but we are here to connect you with the resources that can help. We will continue to monitor the situation and update this page with new information as it becomes available.

We had tons of fun this summer but alas, it's time to put our beloved park to sleep for the winter...
Volunteer Planting Day
Peskeompskut Park
Avenue A + 7th St, 11am-2pm
Please join your friends and neighbors this Saturday, November 1 from 11am-2pm to plant spring flowering bulbs donated to the park for the the Montague Reporter fundraiser. The beds have been prepped by the Montague DPW and are ready to go! Other gardening tasks include weeding and pruning around the shrubs near the bandshell. Please bring gardening tools if you have them- shovels, trowels and rakes. Some tools will be available on site. We really need your help!

Rag S**g Announcement - Slight change in our plans tomorrow; due to forecasts of high winds, we will not be able to show "Scared Shrekless" after the parade. The screen will blow away and that wouldn't be good for anyone. The meet up and start of the parade remain on schedule. See you tomorrow night!
