Canal Street will close from September 15th through September 26th between Second and Third Street while FirstLight Power removes the Strathmore Mill Footbridge. Second Street will be open to 2-way traffic during the closure, and no on-street parking will be allowed on Second Street between Avenue A and Canal Street. We appreciate everyone's patience during this project.

🚨ALERT: Road closures in Greenfield tomorrow! 🛑

Please prepare for the closure of major routes through Greenfield on the evening of Thursday, September 4th, 2025, for the Franklin County Fair Parade.

The rolling road closures will begin at 5 PM, starting at Pierce Street and Federal Street, with the parade departing from Greenfield Middle School. Road closures will occur as the parade progresses along the route. The parade will proceed south on Federal Street, then turn right onto Main Street to head west before turning south onto River Street, west again onto Laurel Street, and finally will enter the Fairgrounds from Fairview Street.

Roads will begin to reopen around 6 PM, starting at Pierce Street and Federal Street, and proceeding along the route as the parade passes. Roads closer to the end of the route are expected to reopen around 7 PM.

Please seek alternate routes during the hours of 5 PM to 7 PM, and be respectful of the officials and volunteers coordinating the closures.
