Margaret Taylor was invited to play for the South Region Stripes 12U team at the USA All American games August 7-10 in Oklahoma City. The games will be held at Devon Park, home of the Women's College World Series.

Designation to a USA Softball All American team is the highest honor a player can receive and instantly brands the player as one of the top athletes in the United States. Only 360 girls Nationwide in each division will have the opportunity to wear the USA Softball Jersey at this elite event.

North River Christian Academy is excited to announce our new baseball coach, Keegan Schafer. Keegan comes with an outstanding background including playing at Tuscaloosa County HS and Shelton State Community College. Keegan also had offers to play at the University of Arkansas and Mississippi State among others before an injury led to him retiring.

Keegan has coached at Holt HS as well as in Post baseball and is well known as one of the most dynamic baseball coaches in Tuscaloosa County. His players show consistent development and performance. Athletic Director Pat DeProspo responded to the hiring by saying, “Charger Nation should be thrilled that Keegan is leading our baseball team. He has played and coached at some of the highest levels of baseball in Alabama and I can think of no one better to come in and lead our young men to victory, both on and off the diamond”!
