🚔 LPD Remembers 9/11 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the countless acts of bravery shown that day. We remember not only the victims but also the first responders and everyday citizens who stood together in the face of tragedy.

As President Barack Obama said:
“Even the smallest act of service, the simplest act of kindness, is a way to honor those we lost—a way to reclaim that spirit of unity that followed 9/11.”

We will never forget.

Opening on November 14, the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum’s new exhibition, “Muscle Shoals: Low Rhythm Rising,” traces how a small Alabama town forged a distinctive sound, became a global recording hub in the ’60s and ’70s, and still inspires music today. It highlights Black and white musicians who came together despite segregation, with Rick Hall’s FAME Studios and Muscle Shoals Sound Studio crafting a raw, homegrown style that drew artists from R&B, rock, pop, and country—and gave rise to a new rhythm.
