Macon Media students conducted a Zoom interview with H(Help) E(Educate) R(Reconstruct) E(Empower) M(My) E(Environment) television’s own, DJ Jimmy Rush! Students were thoroughly impressed with DJ Rush’s experience with radio and television broadcasting. During the interview, students learned a great deal of information about broadcasting, social media, interview etiquette, and the vision behind H.E.R.E M.E. television. Additionally, students were given a history lesson on Julius Rosenwald and John A. Andrews Memorial Hospital. On behalf of the facilitator and students of Macon Media, we would like to thank DJ Rush for joining us.

Today, Macon Media students conducted a Zoom interview with WFSA’s Christopher Cole. Through his lens, Mr. Cole was able to share his perspectives as a Photojournalist and former student of Booker T. Washington High School. There were many “Tips and Takeaways “ provided to students during this interview. One Takeaway that resonated with students the most was Mr. Cole’s mantra “ Come back with SOMETHING, don’t come back with NOTHING !” On behalf of the facilitator and students of Macon Media, we express our gratitude to Mr. Cole for joining us today
