🤍 Hey everyone! 🤍 Two things. First, I could use some help, if you're able. It appears a friend of mine has left a lengthy 1-star review on the podcast because he doesn't think we include enough woke content. It wouldn't be a big deal, except since it's the most recent review, it shows up at the top of both Apple Podcasts and our own website review page (https://www.podsitivitypodcast.com/reviews), making it the first review people see.

To help -- if you enjoy the podcast and have an Apple account and haven't yet done so, it would be so appreciated if you could write us a written review and/or share this with someone who could, just to push the 1-star outlier down the list. Second, I'm so sorry for the hiatus! With all that's going on in life and the time it takes to produce these stories, we've had to push pause for a bit. Good news is, we have plans to come back in the future with a new studio, so don't forget about us! (We also paused our Patreon so we don't keep taking your money during the pause, ha).

Most importantly, thank you all so much for the constant love and support. We have the most amazing listeners and are grateful for the kindness you show to us and so many others. 🤍🥰

You may remember as I do, the devastating images and videos that came out of the Camp Fire in 2018. What we didn't see as much of, was the way humanity came together to support this community as it rose from the ashes.

In this episode, a woman named Brynn walks us through her day on November 8, 2018 -- one that started out normal, and then became very, very different. Because Brynn, you see, lived in the California hillside community of Paradise.

I've had the honor to speak to some amazing people who have overcome incredible obstacles, and I'm pleased to be able to share them with you in upcoming Podsitivity episodes. These people are shining examples of perseverance and faith, not to mention reminders that even the most trying times can be overcome with endurance and the courage to put one foot in front of the other. I'm excited to bring these stories to you -- It might take me a few weeks to get them published because things are crazy right now at my "real job," but they're coming! Our dear inspirational friend and subject of Podsitivity's episode 5, "A Fulfilling Life," Jo Anne Rushton, recently passed away -- surrounded by her loving family -- after battling ALS for two years. Jo Anne was a beacon of determination, optimism, and perseverance, among so many qualities, and although we will miss her, we are comforted by the belief that she has been reunited with her beloved Jack after all these years.
