Today we celebrate the men who taught us how to ride a bike, cast a fishing line, throw a ball, change a tire, build a campfire, and face life's challenges with strength and determination.

Whether you're spending the day on the lake, around the BBQ, on the trail, or simply enjoying time with family, we hope it's a day filled with laughter, memories, and appreciation.

Sheriff's Department investigators allege Bristen Banales shot one man, shot and killed another man and then kidnapped a third victim on Lupine Avenue.

TWENTYNINE PALMS — A Twentynine Palms man shot two people, killing one, and kidnapped a third man over a period of two days on Lupine Avenue, sheriff’s investigators allege.
