I'm not sure if I will ever get over how amazing our bear viewing experience was... I'm also not sure if I will ever get through editing all the pictures from it either.

Here are a few tips for your bear viewing experiences:
1) Bring lots of SD cards or clear out your phone for tons of pictures and videos.
2) Plan a bear viewing trip early in your vacation as weather can deter your plans. If you plan it early in your trip you might still be able to reschedule to a different day.
3) Dress in layers as the days can get quite warm in Alaska, but the boat and plane rides can be chilly.

OTTERS, PUFFINS, ORCAS, OH MY!

We had an incredible boat tour with Seward Ocean Excursions! We saw the beautiful Kenai Fjords National Park as well as some of the wildlife in the area!

If you didn't know I (Tarra) love otters! This was an absolute treat for me to see them and photograph them!

We had the experience of a lifetime yesterday! We photographed coastal brown bears here in Alaska! It was AMAZING! This day will go down as one of the top 10 days of my life. As I begin to edit the nearly 4,000 pictures taken (not all great pictures), here is a sneak peek at these magnificent animals.

We spent a week in the forest of giants, aka Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park! This was a beautiful area, and was a lot of fun, minus our one mistake in planning trails on Saturday 🙀

📷Photography Tip: If you want great photos that showcase an area you have to wake up early, like really early!

This was definitely the case for our St. Augustine trip, we were able to capture the beautiful historic downtown as well as some notable landmarks. This was all because we went very early in the morning and there was hardly anyone there!
