Excited for a documentary we collaborated on with director Evelyn Gregory to be shown at this Saturday!

“I Forgot To Tell You About ...The Story of The Cleveland Buckeyes” captures the love, loss, grace under fire, and phenomenal ingenuity. This improbable yet compelling story of the overwhelming odds of an unlikely team who won the forgotten championship of 1945. The Buckeye’s should have become one of the nation’s celebrated baseball teams of the early 20th century. They were not recognized for their greatness until 2020 when the Major League Baseball organization honored Negro Leagues by giving them Major League status, correcting a shameful “Longtime Oversight”.

A Small Shop With Big Ideas

Film production from script to screen.

For almost 15 years, we have served Northeast Ohio and beyond with the idea that any story can be translated into a cinematic experience. Founded in 2005 by James Pizarro, red Bicycle Media has worked with clients in creating pieces that are not only visually captivating, but also emotionally driven. Whether it is a marketing piece for a school or a documentary telling the story of a family’s legacy, we strive to create the best product possible. Our work has taken us as close as Chagrin Falls, Ohio, to as far as Tokyo, Japan, working with non-profits like MedWish and NEOPAT, to companies such as Flexjet and Uninterrupted. Recently, we helped produce a Tribeca-funded documentary about krumping in Cleveland, co-directed by locals Chris Webb and Conrad Miles.

As we look towards the future, we are excited to work with anyone who wants more than the traditional testimonial video. Don't be afraid to contact us, as we are always available to answer any questions you may have about our approach. We cannot wait to work with you!
