Minority-Owned Media Company Creates
Groundbreaking Custom Comic Book Series for Historic
Fraternity

In an unprecedented move that bridges entertainment and education, FutureGen
Comics LLC, a minority-owned media organization, has partnered with Alpha Phi Alpha
Fraternity, Inc. to create the first-ever comic book series dedicated to a fraternity.

This historic collaboration represents a new frontier in custom comic book creation and fraternity marketing. The Partnership That Started with One Email

The story began in 2024 when Sean McCaskill, Executive Director of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., received what would become a game-changing email from FutureGen Comics. The message promised a "unique opportunity" that would soon transform into
something extraordinary for the historic fraternity.
After just a few strategic phone calls, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. had signed a Project Development Agreement with FutureGen Comics, setting the stage for what would become a landmark achievement in both comic book publishing and fraternity history.

The Creative Dream Team Behind the Historic Men of Distinction series

The success of this groundbreaking project stems from the collaborative effort between FutureGen Comics' creative team and Alpha Phi Alpha's leadership. The project brought together exceptional talent from both organizations:

FutureGen Comics Creative Team:
Lee A Gooden & Jeremy Stokes : Research and story development specialists who crafted the action-packed outline

Curt Wilson, Master sketch artist responsible for the series' visual identity, inking, coloring, and lettering
Baron Tosin: Cover artist who created the classic appeal of the first issue

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Team:

- Sean McCaskill: Executive Director and project liaison
- Eric Webb: Strategic development contributor
- Donnell Thomas: Content advisor
- Tkeban Johannes: Project coordinator

Alpha Phi Alpha: Men of Distinction - The Comic Series collaboration resulted in "Alpha Phi Alpha: Men of Distinction," a four-issue comic book series that transforms the fraternity's mission and goals into an action-packed narrative. Jeremy Stokes' submission for Issue 1, titled "Alpha Phi Alpha: Men of
Distinction-Prologue," established the foundation for Lee A Gooden to develop the historic organization's story into an engaging comic book adventure.
The series represents more than entertainment—it's a innovative approach to storytelling that honors the fraternity's legacy while appealing to new generations of readers.

The Artistic Vision: Bringing History to Life

Curt Wilson, FutureGen's "Master" sketch artist, played a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of the series. His comprehensive work included:
Character Design: Crafting the look and feel of the four-issue series
Inking and Coloring: Bringing depth and vibrancy to each page
Lettering: Ensuring clear, engaging dialogue and narration

Visual Storytelling: Creating compelling page layouts that enhance the narrative

The artistic collaboration reached its pinnacle with Baron Tosin's cover art, which gives Issue 1 its distinctive classic appeal that honors both comic book traditions and fraternity heritage.

Charles T. Beckham III© or “Chas” to his family is Director and Chairman of the massive $800 billion Beckham Charitable Trust that was established by his great grandfather Ephraim Beckham. President and CEO of Beckham Industries. Chas transitioned the family financial services and lending business and founded a new form of crypto currency known as “CyberCred” in partnership with LINK Int’l. His interests are acquiring wealth and power. The Beckham fortune even rivals that of Invictus Allen. After the suspicious death of his beloved mother, he completed a hostile takeover of the family business and ousted his father Charles Beckham, Jr. or CB who is currently a resident of the exclusive Prairie Springs retirement village. As you can imagine their relationship is antagonistic. Chas is aware of mega-sapien existence and is currently developing plans to make it work on his behalf.

ETHEREAL©

Alias: Barbara Fellowes; Extremely intelligent Case Western Reserve University Phd candidate from Columbus, Mississippi. Raised by a “superstitious” grandmother she grew up with tales of VooDoo, mysticism and magic. When in her teens, she rejected these ideas as purely myth and superstition. On the day she was to deliver her Phd. dissertation, she was visited by an extremely powerful being known as Roog. He was a Noble Diabolist. One who has mastered at least one of the Mystic Guilds. Noble, Roog told her of the great power he sensed in her and of the mystic Diabolist Guilds. Throughout time, the diabolists have been trying to uncover the secrets of long forgotten guild referred to as the Secret Knowledge. Together, these guilds make up what is known as the “Telestic Disciplines”. All disciplines are trained to also protect the barrier to the “quantum-verse and believe that the practice of the eighth and final guild will provide balance to the “quantum-verse”. A dimension in which mysticism is as real as you believe that it is. The guilds derive their powers from a purple sphere referred to as the “Iris” it is revered, studied and protected by each of the guilds for a century before it is passed on to the next. This cycle has been in use for almost 10 millenia.
