Meet the Author: William Strong

Taking a cue from Mark Twain, William chose experience over classrooms, leaving college early to travel America “Walt Whitman style.” From reporting on independent papers across the coasts to launching Albion’s Voice in Savannah, his journey was anything but ordinary.

In his 50s, William turned to poetry, publishing Bush League Fatigue, As Alive – As Alert – As Awake – As Artful (2014) and most recently, Connecting Reflections.

From the author himself - ""Connecting Reflections" spans 15 years of my poetry writing. It includes an autobiographical segment. And it embraces both my political views and spiritual yearnings. Some of the poems are composed in "concrete" shaped forms while others in more conventional form. "Connecting Reflections" is my third poetry collection."
