In Memoriam: Kevin V. O’Connor 🇺🇸 (1945 – 2025)

At its July 7th meeting, the Tyngsborough, Massachusetts Select Board paused to honor the life and service of Kevin V. O’Connor, a proud veteran, dedicated family man, and longtime public servant.

O’Connor served as a Selectman in Tyngsborough from 2000 to 2009 and as the Town’s Veterans Agent for 28 years, retiring in 2011. A veteran of the Vietnam War, Kevin was a fierce advocate for fellow veterans and a steady presence in our community for decades.

"You cannot talk to our longer serving employees or volunteers without hearing about the impact that Kevin had on their life and the ways that his leadership transformed the Town of Tyngsborough. Kevin was a dedicated family man and a public servant and will be deeply missed," said Ronald L. Schneider, Tyngsborough Select Board Chair.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the O’Connor family and all who knew and loved him.
