POLICE WARRANT SWEEP NETS 29!!
On Thursday, July 23, 2026 officers from the Altoona Police Department, Tyrone Police Department, Blair County Drug Task Force, Pennsylvania State Police, and Pennsylvania Attorney General Office conducted a warrant round up of forty-four (44) targets.
The warrant round up was a 9 month investigation, in which officers conducted multiple controlled purchases of narcotics, utilizing Confidential Informants and undercover officers to purchase heroin/fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, crack co***ne, co***ne, as well as other controlled substances.
Officers from the above agencies worked together to identify sources of controlled substances being transported from source cities identified mainly as Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
Officers arrested twenty-nine (29) of the forty-four (44) targets during the early morning warrant sweep! The arrestees are as follows:

All subjects were arraigned by Magisterial District Justice Kevin Stoltz and will be prosecuted by the Blair County District Attorney’s Office. All individuals that were incarcerated are currently being held at the Blair County Prison.
While officers were executing the arrest warrants, two search warrants were also executed; one at 820 3rd Ave Altoona, Pa. Upon officers searching the residence, officers located drug paraphernalia, where charges will be filed at a later date. The second search warrant was executed at Kenneth Roberson’s residence, 2707 6th Ave Altoona. A search of the residence yielded the findings of a .22 caliber Savage Rifle. Roberson will be charged at a later date for a Person not to Possess a Firearm.

The complex investigations is an excellent example of multiple agencies working together to conduct the investigations. The Altoona Police Department, Tyrone Police Department, Pennsylvania State Police, and Pennsylvania Attorney General Office were assisted by Allegheny Township Police, Logan Township Police, Bellwood Police, Huntingdon Borough Police, Blair County Sheriff’s, North Woodbury Police, Williamsburg Police, Blair County Parole and Probation, and Blair County Prison.
