It took me years to find my path in real estate.
For a long time, I felt like I was either being too salesy or not salesy enough. Neither felt right.
What finally clicked for me was realizing that I could build a business by being part of my community.
Getting to know my neighbors.
Supporting local businesses.
Hosting events that bring people together.
Sharing information that helps people.
Over time, those connections turned into relationships, and those relationships turned into trust.
A while back, I had the opportunity to sit down with my coach and friend, Karen Coffey and share some of the ways I've used community engagement to grow my business over the last 21+ years in Northern Virginia. Thank you, Karen, for the invitation.
If you're a Realtor looking for ideas, or if you simply believe that relationships matter, I hope you'll find some value in our conversation.
I'd love to hear your thoughts. What's one thing that's helped you feel more connected to your community?
