I'm saving up for a tablet for Digital Savvy Solutions and Cora Smith Reynolds - Author so I can write and edit. With a tablet I will be able to offer more services with my social media marketing and graphic design, along with bookkeeping (I'm currently working on getting certified) and personal assistant services. So apparently I can't even do any business work from my phone because Canva and my phone don't like one another... I can design all I want but can't save or share anything. 😭😭😭

To those who are new here and don't know me, my name is Kayla, and I'm a 24 y/o SAHM and the face behind Digital Savvy Solutions !

I started Digital Savvy Solutions roughly 2 years ago when I was doing the social media work for a mom's Facebook group that I was a part of. At first, graphic design was just something I did in my freetime to help keep me busy during the day. Let's talk about ✨ghosting✨
A photographer friend of mine made a post and it just got me thinking, maybe people don't know that it's okay to say we're going with someone else.

When inquiring about information for a session, a product, a service with a photographer or another small business type.

It is okay if we aren't the best fit for your need.

It's okay if we aren't in your budget.

As a small business owner, sending out information/quotes about your business takes time and effort. It is part of the business but not getting a response is the not so fun part of business.

When inquiring about a service no matter what it might be, please respond with something. Even if we aren't the best fit!

It could be "thank you for your information well look it over and get back with you if we decide to book with you"
Or
"Thank you! We've decided to go a different route"

Answers telling us you're going a different route is better than the dreaded silence 🫶🏼

This post is not about an specific people what so ever. This is just for everyone to hear that it's okay that we're not for you. Just communicate!

Hi everyone 👋🏻

First and foremost I want to apologize for having just “dropped” off social media.

My phone took a crash on me and when I got the issue fixed it took a little extra time to re-log into everything. Then life happened, my family had to move, we’ve had a few unexpected deaths, my mother was in the hospital, my health took a decline, we bought a car that STRESSED us out for the first week, we’ve had a 2 more birthdays and life has just KICKED OUR BEHINDS.

But 🎉 I’M BACK 🎉 and now we have a re-designed style and services to offer.
