This race wasn’t about winning.

It was about finishing a 20-minute Nitro main… and not destroying the car in the process.

We headed out to Silver Dollar RC Raceway in Chico, California — and honestly, I came in a little nervous.

Last time I was here?

Blown ESC. Nitro runaway. Not exactly confidence inspiring.
But this time… things felt different.

The car felt good.

The +4 chassis made it easier to drive.

And for once, I wasn’t chasing speed — I was just trying to stay out there and learn.

Qualifying didn’t go great.

E-buggy definitely reminded me how fast 2200kv can be 😅
(yes… I overshot the triple)

But I made the Nitro main.

And for me, that was the win.

The best part?

I spent 20 minutes on track with fast drivers…
smiling the entire time.

Clean racing. Good competition.

That’s what this hobby is all about.

I might not be the fastest guy out there…
but I’ll keep showing up, learning, and racing.

You’re not just watching —
you went racing with me.
