In 2020, the Cypress Park Athletic Complex was built in Port Reading in Woodbridge Township and in 2024, it was expanded. Cypress is owned and operated by the township, it specifically was a project of Mayor John McCormac. This property is usually vibrant and full of fun and laughter, but the snow took it over.

The Liberty Hall Museum is a historic site at Kean University. It was originally built in 1772 for William Livingston, New Jersey’s first governor. It was occupied by descendants of Livingston, as well as members of the Kean family. In 2000, at the wish of Mary Alice Kean, Liberty Hall became a museum. Today, it welcomes tourists from all over the country to explore its 50 room mansion and gardens outside. Liberty Hall Museum receives funding from both Kean University, the state of New Jersey, and private donors so they can keep over 250 years of history alive.
