The Cougar’s Byte is a Leadership and Service newsletter where students, faculty and staff will find information on all things related to student life at Kean University. The Cougar’s Byte is the Student Life Media Team that produces content to engage with students, faculty and staff on topics related to student life at Kean University. These students assist with making all decisions related to it

s publication, including making assignments, reporting, writing, taking photographs, copy editing, designing pages and distributing the paper throughout the campus community. Readers can also visit our website www.cougarsbyte.com to read more content articles, galleries and videos of campus activities. Plus our website host all articles and content from past years as well. Our readers include more than 15,000 students, faculty, and staff of Kean University, as well as prospective students, families, board members, higher education representatives from other colleges and universities, community leaders, government officials and others with an interest in the University. Meeting the needs of that diverse community is our guiding principle in everything from news play and content selection to editorial policy. The Cougar’s Byte writers cover all levels of campus government, academic issues, student activities and the people who work and study here.

New Jersey City University came through for the NJCU x Kean University Sneaker Bash 👟🔥 From bold fits to standout kicks, students hit the runway showing off serious style. The performances kept the party going from beginning to end, featuring headliner J.I the Prince of N.Y 🎤 The vibes were unmatched, and the crowd brought nonstop energy all night long!

A week that kept the energy going from start to finish ⚡️
We got creative making custom grad caps with , spread smiles at Color a Smile with , and explored flavors from around the globe at A Taste From Around the World with 🌍
We enjoyed the rhythm and moves of ’s “A Step in Time,” showed support at the Cougar Showcase, and met some cool reptiles at Snakes and Scales with and 🐍
We even gave back during the Earth Week river cleanup with 🌱, grabbed a sweet treat at The Final Scoop with and , and ended the week off with our Seniors of dancing into their next chapter💃🏽
