Oh, how many times we've seen this done wrong.
Everyone wants to speed through the boxes and make the drill look impressive. Faster. Faster. Faster.
Meanwhile, the landings are unstable, positions are sloppy, force isn't absorbed correctly, and athletes are already rushing to the next rep before they've even mastered the current one.
That's not how we do things.
It takes time for an athlete to become proficient at depth drops. We purposely slow down the process between reps. Control the landing. Establish position. Reset. Then explode.
Others may judge the workout by how quickly it's completed.
We judge it by how well it's executed.
Slow setup. Explosive ex*****on.
Because the adaptation doesn't come from rushing.
It comes from doing the little things right.
Quality over show.
