🚗💨 Cars for a cause! The Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County raised more than $9,000 at its first-ever car show at the Cradle of Aviation Museum. 🎉

From classic and muscle cars to six DeLoreans and the Scooby-Doo “Mystery Machine,” the event brought the community together to support services for children and adults with disabilities. ❤️

After a season that started with plenty of promise before ending in frustration, the Tigers enter the new campaign determined to prove they can finish what they start.

Hempstead went 3-6 last season after opening the year with three wins in its first four games before dropping its final five. While the late-season skid left a disappointing taste, head coach Matthew Ali believes the experience gained during that stretch, combined with a veteran core and a strong offseason, has positioned the Tigers to take a step forward. Now entering his fifth season as coach, Ali has seen his players embrace the challenge.

“We bring back a really strong group,” Ali said. “They’ve worked hard in the offseason and want to compete with the top teams in the conference.”

The Knights enter the 2026 football season with a renewed sense of optimism, increased participation and a team that appears to be fully embracing the culture head coach Adrian Berry has worked to establish.

After finishing 1-7 in Berry’s first season at the helm, Uniondale is looking to turn the page. The Knights are working towards opening day, which is right around the corner, providing an early opportunity to see how much the program has grown since last fall.
