Starting this spring . This is what I have so far . Bought a truck 12 ft trailer 52 inch zero turn and a time master . I have an echo pas 225 and echo 9010 and a hasquvarna backpack blower .
-What else should I get other than the small stuff. -What’s the easier way to strap down zero turn. Rachet strap across doesn’t seam to hold it down good
Is this where the mower should be on the trailer or all the way forward

Did I charge too much?
I will not lower my prices and put my self out the way.
Okay quick question
I have a customer 75$ per mow charge she says is more than double the guy currently doing it! I guess for 30$ the front is even a bigger yard.
She also wants the clippings hauled off and her patio and driveway also cleaned of anything( other than normal clippings)
Plus theirs a 1 hour drive both ways she contacted me! Knowing my location.

To those who are contacted by clients who say "Skip this weeks cut!"
If you're signing your clients for services, do not charge by each cut. Instead, charge a monthly rate with your cuts factored in. This is a very simple way to eliminate that awkward, frustrating request by a client to skip cuts. Put that in writing on your contract.
I've weeded out my bad clients who've contacted me for these requests to skip cuts. At first, a few weren't too happy but when I explained my reasoning, they understood. Some didn't, and they canceled. Great! Go have Chuck in a Truck who's unlicensed/not insured service you. I had a few leave but within a month, come back.
When someone signs up for any subscription, they pay, even if they dont use that subscription. Lawn maintenance should operate in a similar fashion. If they want to skip?
Great. You're still getting charged.

First time cutting this lawn. Older gentlemen had gotten a notice from the township to mow his lawn. I don't even think it was that bad, they were nit picking... and his wife had just passed away. 😢 It's not the best, but I helped him out and wouldn't take more than $20!! I love to mow and I love to help people in need. Next time I go back, it will still be $20 and I'll do whatever else he probably needs help with because that's the kind of person I am. I respect everyone's hustle, some of y'all are making the big bucks. I'm content mowing and growing relationships in my community. Keep on pushing everybody! 🥰🤗💚

Proud dad moment. My son started lawn care back in March at 17 years old. With a buddy as a partner, who quit not long after they started, Caleb has been killing it all season. They started with hand me down equipment. He has since bought a work truck, trailer, new mowers, a dump trailer for mulch, and more. He employs kids he goes to school with and pays them well. He does all this while also being a four year starter on his high school baseball team, as well as going to school. When he graduates HS in May, he will have 49 hours of college credit from taking college courses at the local community college. He mows 2-3 hours every morning before school and mows every afternoon after school. Tomorrow is his 18th birthday and school is cancelled because of a water crisis, and he has 13 yards on his schedule to knock out on his birthday with a heat index of 115° in the Arkansas Delta. Have a great Senior year kid, and keep killing it! Where there’s a will, there’s a way! Now can you please quit parking your work truck and your pavement princess in my yard?

Hey guys urgent in a sense..so these last ten years have been the hottest for us all historically..so these heat waves in Florida are no joke..I suffered from heat exhaustion for the past two days and finally went to the hospital..it was the worst experience ever..I’ve tried some long sleeves but is there certain material I should go for? Any equipment you guy can link or any tips? I keep a cooler of ice water and some room temp water bottles as well as a rag I pour cold water in for my neck ..it just seems like it’s not enough ..

Ok serious question, do yall have clients that refuse to allow standon and zero turns on their yards? How do yall deal with them? I have some yards I personally will only use a push mower on because they’re small and delicate areas and I prefer to push mow them but I have a couple bigger ones that I’d use my new machines on but can’t. I’m considering dropping them this year. I feel like it’s definitely their right to say what they do and don’t want since it’s their yard but also it’s my right to just part ways at this point. When I was starting out I needed all the clients I could get but now I am more free to pick and choose. (pic for attention)

Who ever said bulk is better than bags your moms a hoe! I think there could be times this is useful but man today wasn't it. There's only two yards in the back and I feel like I took a thousand trips to and from the garden beds and still had a big mess in the street. With bags it would have been $6 more per yard and I need 7 total. I easily could have fit all 7 yards in the back with bags I would have had no mess and I can take 6-7 bags back at a time which is like 5 times what I was fitting into the wagon. Factoring in gas to go back n forth there's no way this is better unless you have a massive trailer or something dedicated for it. 10/10 don't recommend

This tiny bird hides a glowing ruby-red throat beneath the forest shadows.
The Chinese Rubythroat lives in dense forests and mountain thickets across Asia, where the male flashes a brilliant red throat while singing from low branches. It feeds on insects hidden among leaves and undergrowth.
A small spark of red in the shadows, yet one of Asia’s most beautiful little songbirds.
