This steep hike was supposed to take 3 hours so I set a goal of submitting in 45 mins. It was hard but I managed to do it. Feeling pretty good I put my stats into Claude and asked it to rate my fitness or hiking ability for my age. It politely took me down a peg reporting my effort was just average.

Upper Antelope Canyon. This legendary slot canyon is in Navajo country near Page AZ. This was second time, this time in the morning. The canyon is darker and moodier and you will not get the sun beams but still an awe inspiring place.

Detroit feels like it is on the upswing. Granted it is an upswing from quite a fall and there are still many problems. I had a nice four days here working. Yesterday I managed to have some great pizza with wine and sit in row 13 at a Piston’s game for under $100. The city is very affordable overall and that is something. I also felt quite safe walking the streets which were well lit and orderly. I noticed a lot of crossing guards during the heavy traffic periods as well.

Finally managed to get a Waymo. Very easy and smooth experience. This one is in Scottsdale/Phoenix. Sorry but I trust the AI over human drivers.
