Omosapiens, now is your time to wear your superhero capes and come to the rescue of our plucky English cousins at Newark International School of Violin Making. You have probably already heard of the protests to keep the musical instrument courses alive. Whilst they are taking to the streets, we can really really help right now by signing the petition. Now some of you might not like petitions, but no final decision has been made, and we are told that the college was taken by surprise when 5000 signed in the first 48 hours and began to change its position, so every contribution has a huge effect, and helps the students to know we love them.

Of course, they are not just plucky Englanders, but violin makers from every corner of the globe. Sign, share, support in every way you can, and tell musicians how important lutherie schools are to all of their lives. With no one to make and fix instruments, there would be no music.

[for sake of clarity this post was written by a plucky Englishman impersonating a plucky American impersonating a plucky Englishman. Either no one or everyone will feel offended]

Save the Newark School of Musical Instrument Crafts!
