Smart Home Cover 11/6/15 - www.zomagazine.com

Can you imagine a world where everyone had a home? Where everyone had food and there was no war or hierarchies making one life more valuable than another — where everyone worked together for the common good . . . it is possible

“Illusions MIND in Dream State”,
As a artist, I work to create a illusion that transcends beauty and emotion of the mind and body. Before creating a piece I try to imagine what it would look like to capture the bold impressions of the internal emotion with pure serenity.

De Shawn's art embraces the depths of emotion and the beauty of one’s self and mind.

We would like to thank everyone who participated in ZO's 2015 POETRY & ART EXPOSÉ

It has really been inspiring and we look forward to working further with you!

We will begin to post the Silver Level Art Winners (and top entries) as soon as we verify some of the information. Winners were chosen from hundreds of entries and we narrowed those to twenty entries for poetry and sixteen for art. From those our judges chose the finalists.

ZO uses these Expos to connect with outstanding writers and artists In addition to finding intriguing work for our regularly changing pages. Our endgame is to combine and present these talents in a Biennial Arts Event we are now developing and calling “Spoken World!"

Hi guys! If I've written before I humbly apologise, and I'm adding you to the list of blogs I follow on mine. I’m Jo - artist, writer, traveller, mental health advocate, music lover, wild west nut intrigued by science, and renaissance soul with a potty sense of humour. I’ve miraculously recovered from thirty years of depression – a medication crisis was the catalyst, I’ve never felt this good - and I’m chronicling the rebuild of my polymath and hopefully adventurous, creative lifestyle on my blog, Creating My Odyssey. I’m networking with creatives and reaching people with a voice, and those with depression in particular, to explain that this illness is the most treatable of mental health issues. It was purely by chance that my husband and I contacted the brilliant mental health team, who, with a combination of medication (known as California Rocket Fuel- love it!) and cognitive behavioural therapy, brought me to where I am now. Which proves that provided sufferers know where to look, help is available. That's the hard part, which shouldn't be the case. With this blog, which is a great vehicle for my creativity and also covers a myriad of eclectic subjects, I’m unleashing everything that was previously hidden under a bushel! I'd love to exchange links and guest posts with other bloggers, particularly on mental health issues, so if you're interested, I'd love to hear from you. I’ve also been writing a humongous novel forever, on and off, particularly during young parenthood and depression, to help keep me sane. Alias Jeannie Delaney is the life story of a devastating cowgirl who’s the fastest gun in the west and also bisexual. Since my recovery from depression I've decided it’s time to get it out there! I’m blogging about it on my site. My husband has finally taken me in hand and we're now working our way through it. 😊 Thank you so much for reading! Hi guys! Love what you're doing! I’m Jo - artist, writer, traveller, mental health advocate, music lover, wild west nut intrigued by science, and renaissance soul with a ridiculous sense of humour. I’ve miraculously recovered from thirty years of depression with the help of a brilliant mental health team – a medication crisis was the catalyst, I’ve never felt this good - and I’m chronicling the rebuild of my polymath and adventurous, creative lifestyle on my blog, Creating My Odyssey, as well as expanding it to include items of other interest. I’m reaching people with depression in particular, to explain that this illness is the most treatable of mental health issues. I consider myself extremely lucky in that it was purely by chance that we obtained the contact details of the team, who, with a combination of medication (known in the trade as California Rocket Fuel – I love it!) and cognitive behavioural therapy, brought me to where I am now. Which proves that provided sufferers know where to look, help is available. That's the hard part, which shouldn't be the case, and I'd like to go towards redressing that. With my blog, which is a great vehicle for my creativity and also covers a myriad of subjects – creativity, mental health, travel, lifestyle, etcetera - I’m unleashing everything that was previously hidden under a bushel. I'm contacting other creatives and bloggers, particularly on mental health issues, and exchanging links and posts. Since my recovery from depression I've decided it’s time to get it out there! I’m blogging about it on my site. I’m principally looking for mentors or critique partners. I've been very shy about it, but my husband has finally taken me in hand (!) and we're now working our way through it. 😊 Thank you so much for reading. If you feel like dropping into any of my sites, that would be brilliant!
