The 80s are back!! It's time for a show celebrating the fun sounds of the 1980s. This time around we have 80s songs from many places such as Vietnam, Malaysia, and Japan, but that's just the first hour! 👀 The rest of the show will be showcasing some Bollywood soundtracks of the 80s especially featuring Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, and Asha Bhosle.

September is here and it's time for a new theme, video game soundtracks. 👀 Was anyone expecting that? Probably not since we've never done a video game theme before! Video games have fantastic music and we can't wait to play some classics for you guys. That show will of course have some songs without singing so be prepared. 😆 We also haven't had a strictly 80s show for quite a while (over and year), so it's time to revisit that wonderful decade. However, this time it'll be mostly songs not from Korea or Japan!

As always the schedule is subject to change at any time if things come up last minute. We of course try our best to stick with the schedule that we set for ourselves but things happen! ❤️ Tune in every Saturday from 7-9 pm on 88.7 FM.

It's school time again! JCU just started back up with classes so it's the perfect time to get this theme up and running again. It's a variant of our generic 'school' shows we usually do around this time, except this time it's about school subjects or classes you can take! It was fun picking through a large amount of b-sides to find fun ones for tonight. Hopefully you guys love it! I am currently not going to be there so Matt will be doing a solo show. For those of you who have been waiting for this silly show since the concept was thought of years ago ...here it is! A show fully dedicated to Big Naughty. 😆 Matt also can't wait for this show so I hope you enjoy it! For those of you unfamiliar with him, he's a rapper. So it'll be two hours of rap and RnB tonight. Tune in at 7PM on 88.7 FM or the WJCU app.

Due to restrictions on the air we can't technically play a whole two hours of songs sung by the same artist. So in order to get around this we have a few songs from his albums and then the majority of them have him as a featured artist! ❤️

New music show today! Lets finally go back to playing some kpop after a few weeks of staying in Japan (unintentionally 😆). We have quite a few songs today, so let's hope we can pack them all in. There's even a few songs that are less than 2:20? I can't believe songs are getting shorter and shorter.... Oh well I guess thats good for being able to play more things? 🤷‍♀️😆

Everyone please welcome Joan! She's our guest DJ for the first hour of the show today. She actually had a radio show of her own on WCBH which is in New Jersey. So glad to have her on air today! ❤️❤️

Finally its August! Hopefully we left the awful heat behind us in July. Here's to hoping that the weather gets cooler.

For this month's shows we finally have our first guest DJ Joan, as well as a show theme we've been talking about doing for ages.... Big Naughty! (which I'm very much excited about)

We are excited to announce we will be giving away 3 PAIRS of tickets to the upcoming ONEUS: H_OUR, US concert at the The Agora!

This giveaway will take place THIS SATURDAY (August 2nd) during the show 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EST.

How to enter?

Call in to the studio during our show this Saturday (7:00-8:45) and then at 8:46 we will randomly chose 3 winners from the people who called in. (216) 397-4438 is the studio line, and you have almost 2 hours to call in so don't worry about being first or last. Everyone who calls gets a chance to enter!

It's time to put a spotlight on City Pop tonight so let's travel back to the 80s in the bast way possible. 🔥❤️ One of my favorite subgenres of Japanese Music, City Pop is basically j-pop songs but with heavy influences from funk, disco, jazz, jazz fusion, and soft rock. If it's something that you haven't listened to tonight is the night to get a little sampler of all the different types of songs the 'city pop' label can contain.
