THON 2026. I don’t even know where to begin.

Coming to Penn State, I had no idea what THON was or how much it would change my life. I’m so proud to be a Penn State student and to be part of something so much bigger than myself. THON has given me purpose and introduced me to some of my best friends.

Joining was the best decision I ever made. Being in the stands together and hosting fundraising events all year are always the highlights of my semesters. I feel so lucky to stand united in this fight alongside such an incredible organization. Over 70 of our members stood for all 46 hours - truly unbelievable. I’m endlessly proud of every single person who shows up year after year for this cause.

To our amazing dancers, I can’t even begin to express how much love and admiration I have for you. I’ve watched you pour so much of yourselves into this mission, and you deserved every second on that floor. Watching the 6 of you dance all weekend was beyond inspiring. I’m so grateful to call you my friends and role models.

Standing for 46 hours isn’t easy - but that’s not what THON is about. 46 hours is the least we can give for these children. This year, Penn State raised $18.8 million for the kids - money that will change and save lives. They are the reason we show up every year. It’s not about our discomfort; it’s about fighting for those who can’t fight for themselves.

Four percent of government funding for pediatric cancer research is not enough. We need change. We need better treatments. We need a cure that doesn’t take away a child’s quality of life.

Kids deserve to be kids.

Once, always.

Thank you for trusting me to serve as your Membership Recruitment Chairman ❤️ In 2024, I went through recruitment as a PNM feeling unsure of where I would end up. My Penn State experience wasn’t unfolding the way I had imagined… until I ran home to Phi Sigma Sigma and met my best friends.

This sisterhood gave me a place to grow, to lead, and to step into confidence. I truly can’t imagine my college experience without the family I found through Phi Sig. I found the girls who travel the world with me, defend me in rooms I’m not in, laugh with me, cry with me, and support me in every adventure. Recruitment is never easy, but I know every moment will be worth it when our girls run home today!!

I could not have done this without my incredible team — Madeline, Brooke, Alex, and Mina. This role was both the hardest and most rewarding position I’ve ever held, and I’m so grateful for each of you. I can’t wait to celebrate tonight with our new sisters and watch you all step into the role of big sister so soon.
