Soaked up some fall colors yesterday on Belleayre mountain! Even though this year’s drought has toned things down a bit, autumn in upstate New York still knows how to put on a show. From warm cinnamon hues to that crisp leafy smell in the air (and the soundtrack of leaves crunching underfoot), it’s pure seasonal magic. Nothing quite compares to fall up here ❤️

Took a trip to Mine Kill Falls with our dog, Dahlia today!

Due to her age and dog reactivity, these types of outings haven't happened a whole lot, but she did great today and as long as her arthritis allows, there will be more in her future 😂🐾

She did fantastic in the car, and since we only saw one other dog, did great overall! Lots of treats for a job well done. She LOVED all the smells and we stopped so many times but that's what it's about after all. And yes, she hated the rocks at the waterfront and I did carry quite a bit on the hike up. Not bad for an old lady ❤️
