We've got to keep an eye to the sky tomorrow afternoon. A cold front will move through Maine bringing a round of showers and storms. Any storms could have gusty winds or small hail, with the highest risk across central and southern Maine. Timing looks to be ~2-7pm.

No surprise with the latest drought monitor. All of central and southern Maine are now in moderate drought. Rainfall deficits are in the 4-6" range for the summer in many spots, and not much rain is in the forecast! This rain tracker runs through next weekend, and shows hardly any rain at all in Maine. Fire danger and dropping well/river levels will continue.

Good morning! Hope you're waking up watching Good Day Maine! It's another warm and muggy start, and it will be pretty hot and humid again today. Showers or storms are possible, but unfortunately they will be pretty hit or miss. We need a good soaking!
