SO excited to announce my new position NEWS CENTER Maine ! I’m thrilled to be able to stay in Maine and work with such a legendary team of meteorologists. I’ll be taking over for my good friend Aaron Myler on the weekend morning shift, and you’ll also see me on the mornings Monday-Wednesday. So grateful to the NCM team for such a warm welcome on my first day! My first day on air will be later this week, I hope you’ll tune in! 😃

Wondering what I’ve been up to? It’s been so nice to be a bit off the grid for a couple weeks at home in Georgia, along with a visit to see my sister and alma mater at Mississippi State! Just got back to Maine yesterday evening, and I’m starting my new position tomorrow 👀😉😉 stay tuned for an exciting announcement Monday!

No surprise here, big expansion of drought in Maine. Nearly 58% of the state in severe drought with extreme drought introduced in the foothills for the first time since fall 2020. We need rain, badly!

Back for my last week at WGME after another lovely trip to Cape Cod! This is my favorite time of year to be there and the weather was absolutely perfect. It was great catching up with friends and seeing SO much wildlife! Happy to be back in Maine to enjoy more great weather this week 😎😎😎

Some news to share with you all: next Thursday, September 18th will be my last day at WGME. It’s been a great 3 1/2 years at the station and I’ll always be grateful to WGME for introducing me to Maine, I’ve never been happier living anywhere else! For those who enjoy watching my forecasts, no worries! I am not leaving your TV screens in Maine. More on where I’m headed in a couple weeks 😉😉 going to take a couple weeks off in late September to spend time with family, but you’ll see me back here in Maine in October! Hope you’ll tune in for my last show, which will be the noon next Thursday!

A gorgeous day today will be followed by a crisp, chilly night tonight! Widespread 40s are expected with typical cold spots dipping into the 30s. Frost is possible in northern Oxford county. Not much time left for the growing season!
