I didn’t mean to let myself go.

It didn’t happen all at once.
It was the little things —
Not brushing my hair.
Wearing the same shirt for days.
Ignoring the mirror.

At first, it felt like relief… like finally not having to perform.
But eventually it started to feel like I wasn’t even showing up for me anymore.

Healing is remembering that I deserve to care for myself — not just survive.
Even if it starts with one small thing, like brushing my hair again.

💬 Has healing ever looked like reclaiming the small things for you?
Drop a 🖤 or share what it looked like.

If I’m honest…
Healing hasn’t always felt like progress.
Sometimes it’s felt like reliving things I tried to forget.
Like peeling back layers I wasn’t ready to see.
Like grief for the version of me that didn’t survive certain seasons.

💬 Finish this in the comments:
“If I’m honest about healing…”

Even if it’s messy. Especially if it’s messy.

Reminder for today:
You’re not behind.
You’re not failing.
You’re not too sensitive, too emotional, or too damaged.

You are healing.
And healing doesn’t follow anyone else’s timeline but your own.

🌱 Breathe. You’re doing better than you think.

💬 If you needed this reminder, drop a 💚 or tell me how you’re being gentle with yourself today.

Let’s talk about the things we never got to say.

If you could say one thing to the version of you who was hurting the most…
What would you say?

💬 Drop it in the comments — whether it’s one sentence or just a word.
Maybe someone else needs to hear it too.

Gentle Monday reminder:
You are allowed to be a work in progress and still be proud of how far you’ve come.

You don’t have to have it all together.
You don’t have to explain why you’re still healing.
You don’t have to rush your growth to make other people comfortable.

🌱 Healing is still healing — even on the slow days.

💬 What are you giving yourself permission to feel this week?

Let’s be real for a second.
Healing isn’t always empowering.
Sometimes it’s confusing.
Sometimes it’s exhausting.
Sometimes it’s crying over things you thought you were “over.”

💬 Drop a 💔 in the comments if healing ever felt like it was breaking you before it rebuilt you.
You’re not alone. And you’re not broken.

You can’t always see trauma.
You can’t always explain it.
But you still have to live with it.

Be gentle with people.
Some are carrying invisible wounds just trying to make it through the day.

💬 If you’ve ever felt unseen in your healing, type “I get it” or share a little of your story below.

You can still be healing and still be lovable.
You can still have triggers and still deserve understanding.
You can still cry over the past and still move forward.

Healing is not a contradiction.

💬 If you needed this reminder tonight, type “Still worthy.”

💬 Let’s talk truth.
What’s one thing you wish people understood about trauma?

I’ll go first: “It doesn’t just go away because time passed.”

Now your turn. One line. One truth.

25/07/2025

You don’t have to explain why you’re quiet.
Why you canceled plans.
Why you’re crying over something “small.”
Why you’re setting boundaries now.

Healing doesn’t need to be approved.
It just needs to be honored.

💬 If you’ve ever felt misunderstood while healing, drop a 💔 or a comment.

Not every trigger needs explaining.

You don’t owe anyone an explanation for your triggers.

You don’t need to justify why you left, went silent, said no, or cried.

Healing doesn’t always look like strength. Sometimes, it looks like finally walking away.
