Be prepared for lots of beach weekend posts this summer🌊

Living in Charlotte means close proximity to hundreds of weekend getaways. Cam and I spent Memorial Day weekend enjoying the sunny coast of North Myrtle Beach🌞. At only a 3.5hr drive from uptown this is an easy trip!

Our weekend Itinerary:

If you’re looking for a summer getaway Hilton Head Island is one of our favorite spots to hit every year. At only a 4 hour drive from uptown this gem is an easy trip from The Queen City.

Our favorite thing about Hilton Head is that you can bike literally EVERYWHERE! The island is only 12 miles long and covered with bike/running trails. It’s also packed with things to do but there’s so much lush greenery it doesn’t feel too urban.

Some of our favorite things to do in Hilton Head:
🚲Bike rides through Sea Pines nature preserve
🛥Day trip to Daufuskie Island (reel coming soon)
⛱Relaxing on Coligny beach
🎶Summer concerts at Shelter Cove

Something hits different about sunsets on the beach😍

Our FAVORITE place to catch the sunset in Hilton Head is Shelter Cove Marina. They’re always STUNNING!

All summer long they also host a free concert series Monday through Friday featuring music from . The vibes here are unbeatable!!

Oh and did I mention the Pink Lemonade Session Sour is absolutely delicious? 🤤🍋

🍦MY FAVORITE ICE CREAM IN CHARLOTTE🍦

A bold statement, but it’s true! is made from scratch with a buttercream body, smooth texture, and bright flavors!

My go to has always been the fruity Brumbleberry Crisp🍓🫐, but I tried a savory Salted Caramel🧂🍮 this time and it’s unlike anything I’ve tried before!

With 3 locations throughout The Queen City, it’s convenient for all!

If you’re new and visiting with a group, I recommend trying the 10 half scoop flight so you can choose your favorite flavor🍧

Have you ever been to Nashville, TN?

Just over a 6 hour drive from the Queen City is Music City 🎵and the #1 bachelorette 💍destination in the US! So you know I had to check it out…

Nashville is honestly one of the most fun cities I’ve EVER been to. There is live music 🎸in literally every restaurant and bar, the shopping 🛍 is amazing, and there’s plenty to do no matter the time of day.

Aside from night life and restaurants, we loved goat yoga🐐 & line dancing classes 👯‍♀️ ! Nashville has truly got something for everyone to enjoy!
