Anderson was with the Houston Ballet from 1983 to 2006, in a remarkable career that saw her become the first Black principal dancer of the Houston Ballet. She was also one of the first Black ballerinas to head a major ballet company anywhere in the world—a fact that is still rare to this day.

Multidisciplinary artist Samora Pinderhughes visits I SEE U to shed light on a transformative healing project that reimagines a future built on empathy and compassion.

The project has grown since its inception and has now evolved into an arts organization based in New York City.
