1️⃣ You CAN build a barndominium with VA, FHA, or Conventional OTC loans
Yes — 100% financing options for eligible VA borrowers.
Yes — FHA & Conventional allow them too (with the right builder & plans).
2️⃣ Your land equity can cover down payment requirements
But NO — land equity does not reduce your cost to build.
(Labor & materials cost what they cost.)
