True friendships should not be taken for granted, nor should they be lost and irretrievable. Have you stopped to think how blessed you are at this moment? Have you really?! Your position in life right now is because of God. THIS is where He has placed you for a time such as this...despite the things that you may deem as trials or tribulations. You have not been alone in your journey. Your bandwagon had many occupants with many stops along the way...and so has mine. We are here together at this place and time because Heavenly Father has governed our destiny.
On a personal note…I know for a fact, that I am where I'm at now in my life because of those that God put in my life for influential value. My wife is truly a gift from God! The friends that I've ushered in and cultivated...even those that have drifted away from me…have guided me to this place and time. Think about it…Think about acquaintances you've come in contact with, people that have been introduced to you, and the friends that have come and gone in your life. I'm reminded more often than not how discernible options can fuel deductive reasoning, logic and common sense in knowing that not all people are my cup of tea -- or coffee, for that matter!
Lately, I've been reflecting a lot on my life. I've done so many things and I've gone so many places. I've lived a pretty interesting life! I've met some incredible people along the way and have forged friendships all over the world. There are people who like me and well, I know there are people who hate me...you can't make everyone happy! Yes, I've made mistakes. Who hasn't? I know I’m not going to judge anyone for the things they’ve done in their past...or their present for that matter! I'm just a guy who has lived life...a guy who has made mistakes...and a guy who has learned many valuable lessons along the way. It is said that your whole life is a journey and a lesson. Which paths we take...what we look back on, and what we look forward to is up to us. Heavenly Father has a plan for us, but ultimately, we make our own choices. We decide what kind of road we will take to get there and how happy we are when we arrive. You can't look at the past and get upset about all the stupid mistakes you made...and you can't think about the future and worry about things yet to come. You have to live in the present...stop and smell the roses...make your life something worth remembering. You are living God’s plan. You are here to live, to love…to learn. It's up to you to create your own legacy. It’s up to you to live your own life. Trust in God and Enjoy the Journey!
