Felicitation Ceremony to Honour Academic Excellence
Jammu, 17 May,2025: Birla Open Minds International School, Jammu, hosted a grand
Felicitation Ceremony today, to honour and celebrate the achievements of its academic toppers.
The event was a proud moment for the school as students, parents, and faculty gathered to
acknowledge the hard work and excellence demonstrated by the meritorious students.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome speech extending heartfelt greetings to the
Chairperson, Dr. Panna Manhas Choudhary, Principal Ms. Aparana Kohli, esteemed parents, and
the academic toppers. This was followed by the felicitation of the Chairperson for her
unwavering support and visionary leadership. The lighting of the ceremonial lamp marked the
traditional beginning of the event, symbolizing the light of knowledge and wisdom.
A key highlight of the ceremony was the felicitation of the toppers, where students who had
excelled in their academics were honoured with certificates and tokens of appreciation. Their
dedication, perseverance, and pursuit of excellence were applauded by all present. Chairperson
Dr. Panna Manhas Choudhary, in her inspiring address, lauded the efforts of the students and
acknowledged the pivotal role played by parents and educators in their journey. She said, “Today
is not just a celebration of academic brilliance, but a testimony to the commitment, discipline,
and determination shown by our young achievers. Let this success be a stepping stone towards
even greater accomplishments. Always remember, true success is defined by how well you use
your knowledge to serve others and make a positive impact on the world.” Principal Ms.
Aparana Kohli addressed the gathering, congratulating the students on their success and
encouraging them to continue striving for excellence in all their future endeavours. She also
appreciated the support of parents and teachers in nurturing the talents of the students.
This year’s overall school topper for class XII in Medical stream are Riddhiman Sharma scoring
95%, Vaibhav Choudhary scoring 94.4%, Raghvi Singh scoring 92.2%, Angel Sharma scoring
92% and Avni Sajgotra scoring 91.8%. Vridhi Mahajan brought laurels in Non-Medical stream
scoring 93%. Riya Sharma scoring 92% is the topper in Commerce. Toppers in Humanities are
Mohd. Tasin Khan scoring 92.4% and Diksha Kumari scoring 91.4% reflecting the school’s
unwavering commitment to academic brilliance. The school also celebrates the achievements of
its subject toppers who scored more than 90%, whose hard work and dedication have earned
