About Last Night🥂¶
When I started Pilcrow, I had a vision for creating a place where authors could bring their stories into the world, and where I could walk beside them through the process of becoming published.
Last night, standing at Val’s launch party and watching her hold the book we have worked so hard on together, I realized just how much that little vision has grown.
And then Casey walked through the door. My newest author, there to celebrate my first author’s milestone. And somehow, it felt like a passing of the baton. One author completing one chapter of the journey while another is just beginning hers.
There was something really beautiful about that moment for me.
When I started Pilcrow, I didn’t know exactly where it would take me. I just knew I wanted to help people tell stories that mattered. Last night, I got a glimpse of what that dream can look like when it begins to take on a life of its own.
Val, thank you for trusting me with your story and testimony and for being the beginning of this chapter.
Casey, I’m so excited that you’re the next one to pick up the pen.🤠
And to every author who trusts Pilcrow with their story: this is why I started and why I keep going.
One story ends…another begins. And somehow, the baton keeps moving forward.
