📢Opportunity for those who have a vison or project already in action to own an arts and cultural space or for those with a skill set in real estate development that want to learn how they can be part of equitable development work through arts and culture spaces.

“Cultural Space Agency, a Public Development Authority in partnership with the Office of Arts and Culture, is pleased to announce that our Building Art Spaces Equitably Program is launching its 7th year. We are currently taking applications for the BASE 25 cohort.

Please read the following to see if you or someone in your circle would be a good candidate for this opportunity towards creating, maintaining, and owning cultural spaces.

Each year twenty experts in fields related to cultural space – architects, city planners, commercial property developers, and property brokers, as well as community organizers, cultural organization leaders, writers, and artists with a vision for securing cultural space come together. We spend learning about real estate development and building awareness and understanding of the critically important new field of Cultural Space.

The cohorts are intended to be made up entirely of People of Color, a choice intended to reverse centuries of institutionalized racism and to aim the knowledge the program provides towards the communities that have been denied access to that knowledge.”

Last Saturday, we were invited to the event at Evergreen Longhouse to play the tabletop RPG "Coyote & Crow." art was on display during the game. The image of the Horned Serpent was created for the Coyote & Crow game screen!

We got to set up our merch, and Connor was there with a demo of his NEW battle style card game "Primacy." We all got to present a little about our work and the concept of Indigenous Futurism. It was great to meet everyone, we're looking forward to the next event!
