The garden needed the rain and I needed this ravioli. 🌧️ 🥘 🥖 ✨
Million Dollar Ravioli
Red Sauce Layer
Brown:
* 1 lb breakfast sausage
Add:
* 1 jar pasta sauce
* Italian seasoning
Simmer a few minutes.
Cream Sauce Layer
Melt:
* 4 tbsp butter
Whisk in:
* 1 pint heavy cream
Slowly add:
* 1–1½ cups parmesan
Season with:
* Garlic powder
* Pepper
Simmer gently until slightly thickened.
Layering Order
In a greased 9x13 dish:
1. Thin layer red sauce
2. Frozen ravioli
3. Cream sauce
4. Red sauce
Repeat until full.
Top with:
* Sharp cheddar & Monterey Jack
* Parmesan
Bake
* Cover tightly with foil
* 375°F for about 45 minutes
* Uncover 10–15 minutes until hot and bubbly
Tip:
Since the ravioli is frozen, make sure there’s enough sauce around all the edges so they soften while baking. If it looks dry before baking, drizzle a little extra cream around the sides.
