We here at Signals From Pittsburgh are absolutely gutted by the sudden passing of Nick "Bomba" Tallo. Nick was a kind-hearted individual, and a prolific professional. Nick was an icon of the Pittsburgh film industry including his work with George Romero. His early beginnings dated back to the Mr Rogers neighborhood show where he cultivated a lifelong career and a lifelong friendship with many crew members including the great Michael Keaton. I only knew Nick for a brief time but every time I saw him he was having a good time either ribbing someone or just being cantankerous he was a merry prankster with a lust for life. By all accounts of people that work for him he was a natural leader and driven worker on and he set stepped foot on. Gone too soon but not forgotten. We We love and we will miss you Bomba. The only comforting thought is that you George and Fred are reunited somewhere as we write this having a laugh.

Rest In Peace we love you.
