Early this morning I played with a few more ADVENT shades today and put together this little look. Two of the shadows in the calendar are those powder putty formulas and so cool, once you put those on, they are not going anywhere. If you deal with crepey lids, these are a whole different experience. Use them wet for bold color, or just tap them on with your finger for the easiest blend. A brush will give you that soft, barely there wash.

Today’s lineup: Sparkling Cider, Sunday, Ruffle, Copper, and Clementine on the eyes. Fig on the cheeks, Gloss & Diamonds on the lips, and my Cushion Makeup base.
Lined with chai pencil.

Today was one of those go-go-go days, so the food was simple and quick nothing fancy, just real life.

Breakfast was eggs and toast with a little of my homemade jelly.
Lunch was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich (and I can’t even remember what I had with it busyday brain!).
Dinner was the quickest thing ever: rinsed black beans over some Siete Chips, a slice of Sargento cheese, a little chicken breast, melted it together and called it good.

I also had a Breyers low carb ice cream and a little bit of popcorn.
There was a time when I was over 250 pounds when a day like this would’ve sent me running through a drive thru for a cheeseburger, fries, and a soda.
But now? This is what “quick and easy” looks like for me. Not perfect, not fancy just choosing what keeps me feeling my best, even on the busiest days.

Progress really does look like small choices, over and over again. 💛

Going live today to play with some of our brand new holiday releases 🎄✨
Everything drops at 12 noon Eastern / 10 Mountain and I’ll be diving into the Nostalgia Collection, including that gorgeous Black Cherry in the tube. I cannot wait for y’all to see it! I may even sneak in a few Advent Calendar shades while we’re together.

Keeping it simple and staying mindful today.
Breakfast was wheat toast with an omelette loaded with chicken, mushrooms, tomatoes, and just a tiny sprinkle of cheese plus a side of grits (I even pulled that big ol’ hunk of butter right back out and used just a smidge instead 😄).

Lunch was a turkey breast sandwich on sara lee lo cal bread with half a slice of cheese, a wee bit of mayo, some avocado, and dill pickles it was simple but good.

Dinner was roasted chicken breast with rosemary baked fries, a few potato crowns too.

I had my bone broth protein after Bible study this morning, and I’ll probably grab a little clementine tonight for something sweet. 🍊
