ATTENTION IN THE PITS:
We must announce that we can no longer use the name EPCAL Motorsports Park. Reason being the fact that we operate under what is called a Code Chapter 255 Special Event Permit with the Town of Riverhead,. The Town feels that the name EPCAL Motorsports Park suggests that we are a permanent Race Track (i.e. long term lease or purchased the property.). This, of course, cannot happen until the lawsuit with CAT/Triple 5 is resolved. So, moving forward we will use the name RACE TRACK NOT STREET . (please note that this is a temporary logo we will use for now)
BUT SOME GREAT NEWS:
We are happy and thrilled to announce that the Riverhead Town Board has just UNANIMOUSLY approved our application for the 2027 Season - Our 7th Season! WOO HOO
This is very important to us because of the planned track improvements we are going to make for Race Track Not Street at EPCAL. These improvements are planned to be in place for our Summer Classic Opening Date of August 15, 2026. These include additional lighting at the dragstrip and drift track, additional lighting on the taxiway along with additional bleachers, improved pit area and spectator entrance gates additional organized pit/spectator parking at the drift track, use of our new (used) high horsepower tractor to pull our slick tire drag, use of new (used) tractor to pull our PTO mounted blower PLUS on Town approval, the installation of our concrete burnout and starting line pad!
We want to thank the Riverhead Town Board for their continued support. Thanks to all our sponsors, racers, spectators and the BEST track crew that we have EVER had the privilege to work with!!!
