The lost Cinema Hall still stands,where memories were made!
C.M. Cinema, Lamlai was inaugurated in 1985, and the Hindi movie Zanzeer 🎞️ was screened at its inaugural function, according to the theatre's proprietor Mutum Ratan. This Cinema Hall saw its final screening before Covid-19. Have we lost the tradition of going to theatres, and if so, who bears the responsibility?

With heavy heart, I mourn the untimely death of Shri Kh. Kuleshwar Singh, Chairman of Film Forum Manipur. His passing is a great loss to Manipur's cultural and cinematic community. A passionate advocate of Manipuri cinema and art, he dedicated his life to promoting and preserving our cultural heritage, leaving a legacy to inspire future generations.

I extend condolences to his family, friends, and the film fraternity. May the Almighty grant strength and peace to all, and may his soul rest in eternal peace.
