🏡Meet Your Neighbor – Family, Faith and Front Yards: The Skorupinskis’ New Chapter
Living a life of ministry often means moving from place to place. But for the Skorupinski family—Pastor Emily, her husband Brad, and their daughters Elizabeth (6), Annie Kate (4), and Charlotte (1)—their recent move to Davidsonville feels like coming home.
Emily grew up among the farms of northern Harford County, and Brad was raised in Silver Spring, MD, but the couple has found something special in their new neighborhood.
“We love our neighborhood, Hardesty Estates,” Emily said. “The family atmosphere, the outdoor space for our kids to play, and the fact that our neighbors have kids our kids’ ages make it the perfect home.”
Before entering ministry, Emily earned her degree in economics and international relations from Bucknell University, then worked in the investments middle office at T. Rowe Price and BNY Mellon. Then, she made the leap to seminary, completing her master’s from Wesley Theological Seminary just four weeks after their first daughter was born. She now serves as the senior pastor at Saint Andrew’s United Methodist Church & Day School.
Brad’s journey with Potomac Valley Brick & Supply Co. began as a summer job. He worked eight summers through his high school years and as a student at Coastal Carolina University and the University of North Carolina Wilmington. What started as a seasonal job soon evolved into a lifelong career path in the family business. Now, more than 16 years later, Brad has worked his way up through the ranks, ultimately becoming Vice President and General Manager.
Outside of work and church, the Skorupinskis love spending time outdoors. They're members at Crofton Country Club, where they enjoy playing golf together.
So if you see the Skorupinski family around town, don’t hesitate to say hello. They’re proud to call Davidsonville home.
