Submissions for the next DxD compilation are now closed.

What happens next? We will go through all of the entries, listening and curating each side of the comp. Your track will be considered for both sides. It will land on either side based on the sonic architecture, textures and overall mood of the song.

We expect the curation process to be completed by the end of September. If it’s a fit, we will start to reach out to selected bands the week of 10/5.

“There’s enough pressure to make every single feel heavy or profound,” shares Glasgow’s SVRFHOOSE. “‘Send Noodles’ is about stripping all of that away to celebrate the ordinary things that keep you afloat. It’s warm, loose, and doesn’t take itself too seriously.” Its sun-drenched melodies in the chorus shine through a lofi sonic filter.

“Sometimes lust writes a better song than love” raises Purse Thief’s frontman Rafael Vigilantics on “Modern Lover.” His delivery is melodic, poetic, inquisitive and matter-of-fact. A subdued post-punk song sits underneath his words. The New Mexico band is on tour.

Another one in the books! Thanks to everyone who came out to Pianos NYC on Thursday night to hang with us. We warned you this was a stacked lineup and we were not lying! We had absolutely killer sets by Marshy and Titan ✨✨, a not-so-unplugged performance by LG Galleon 🎸🔊 and psych visuals/jangly soundwaves 🌊🌊 by Deep Sky Objects.

The event is from 11AM - 6PM and will feature 40+ record & music merch vendors including stores, labels and collectors. The DJ lineup is on the way!
