Illness is painful to those who are sick and to the ones who love them. It is painful to experience and painful to watch. Illness does not discriminate. It afflicts the spiritual and the unspiritual, rich and poor, young and old. Sickness is a result of living in a sin-cursed world and occupying an environment that has been infiltrated by decay. But we have a blessed hope. Jesus!

Good governments recognize almighty God as the ultimate authority. He is the One who establishes governments and gives them the power to preside over the people. Good governments are “of the people, by the people, for the people.” When governments fail to serve the people on behalf of God, they ultimately fail. Wisdom is separation of church and state, but not separation of the church from the state.

- You are loved beyond measure.
- Your sin is not your identity.
- Your past is not your prison.
- Your debt is canceled.
- Your shame is nailed to the cross.
- Your future is secured in His blood.

The cross is not a symbol of suffering —
it’s a symbol of substitution, salvation, and sovereign love.

Today is Good Friday — the day the world went dark so that humanity could finally see the light.

This is the day Jesus didn’t just die for us…
He died instead of us.
He carried what we could never carry.
He paid what we could never afford.
He endured what we could never survive.

Good Friday is not a tragedy.
It’s a transaction.
It’s not defeat.
It’s deliverance.
It’s not the end.
It’s the turning point of all creation.

Economic storms expose evil. It may seem like the wicked are prospering, but eventually they will be found out. The Holy Spirit shakes out sin, so it can be seen and judged. As the Lord promised His children in the past, “I will shake the people of Israel” (Amos 9:9)(Proverbs 10:25).

Christians should be in loving relationships!

We are not created by our heavenly Father to be isolated and insecure. His plan for us is to engage with each other in meaningful conversation, patient prayer, loving service, and relaxing recreation. Families and friends who grow old together are able to work through conflict, overcome obstacles, serve unselfishly, and celebrate God’s faithfulness. (DDFM25)

Stay Calm
Sometimes, when presented with a problem you can’t solve, it’s okay to sit back, stay silent, and wait on God to show you the answer. Silence is a sign of a calm spirit. It gives you a chance to hear God and not ourselves. (Provb 17:27)
Lord, give me the patience and humility to keep quiet when You have something to say. May I listen more than I speak. (DWFM25)
