A storm system is expected to form off the coast of the southeastern U.S. in the next few days. It's currently not a tropical storm, but if it stays over the ocean, it might start to look more like a tropical or subtropical storm later this week as it moves northeast at about 10 to 15 miles per hour.

Right now, there's a low chance (10%) of it becoming a named storm within the next 7 days.
