Have really been struggling with unreliable VAs recently. Also, over the last few months I've banged my head against the wall wondering how in God's name I was going to fix the accountability problem without micromanaging… and I know a lot of people here have been too.
Anyway, I was talking to ChatGPT and I think I've got it. Wanted to share it with you all in case it was helpful (should be less than $8/hr):
Fire the VA.
Set up an AI phone agent (about $750–$850 setup, then $6/hr).
Connect it to your calendar (I use Cal.com so it books meetings automatically).
Add KPI tracking so every call, voicemail, and booking is logged.
Let the agent handle 1,000+ dials/day, callbacks, and even email follow-ups.
