We made it to Ventura and we have a great spot right on the ocean in Emma wood state park where will put down our jackstands for a few days. And I’ll work from our beachfront property.

Telluride, CO. A quaint old town with world class skiing. These 14ers remind us of the Swiss Alps. Wild topography changes throughout the day. Wound up in Seligman, AZ at LILO’s cafe.

Day 1 on our road to Venture, CA
We drove from Colorado Springs to just outside Telluride, CO. Beautiful drive…. & very long road delay on 50 just west of Gunnison. We found  dispersed camping just outside Telluride called Fall Creek BLM land. Tomorrow after my calls we’ll go to Telluride for coffee. 😎

Since selling our house and moving into our camper our friends have made the transition pretty easy…. Letting us stay in their backyard. Now that we have concluded our business we are heading to CA to visit family. Along the way we plan on hitting areas of CO, AZ and UT we haven’t spent much time in. Additionally, we’re going to try dropping in on a couple of my YouTube favorites . Hope they are around this week!

I guess this is Gods way of easing us into live in the camper. Good friends said we could start our journey from their backyard, with AC which is fantastic. It’s nice being settled for a couple days for both my wife and I work. Also identified a problem with DC power… waiting on a part.

This last weekend my wife and I sold our home and jumped into our truck camper full time for the next seven months. This is going to be an adventure, our first weekend we met up with friends at Lake Pueblo…. Next ???. We’re kind of one day at a time, a bit uncomfortable but is that a bad thing?
