My mother in a designer pageant dress purchased in New York by a sponsor ,
It’s a red dress , I only have a copy in black and white .
In 1956 a poor farm girl from NC ( my mom )
Won the pageant .
And went on to do many more pageants !
This picture is in my dining room and my favorite image of the many pageant pictures I have of her !
After posting this A kind lady named Barb colored the image and sent me a copy ,
I wanted to Add it to the post
